Milly Laker Ocaya is the Deputy Head of Finance and Administration at the Infectious Diseases Institute (IDI) at Makerere University. With a strong background in finance and administration, she plays a central role in the institute’s operations. Her expertise in financial management and strategic planning enables IDI to effectively allocate resources and achieve its goals in the fight against infectious diseases. Milly’s dedication to her work has been instrumental in the institute’s growth and success, particularly in its efforts to provide quality care and treatment to patients, conduct cutting-edge research, and strengthen health systems in Uganda and Africa.
