Dr. Henry Gatyanga Mwebesa is a renowned medical professional with over 31 years of experience in the health sector. He holds an MBCHB from Makerere University and an MPH from Leeds University UK. As the Director General of Health Services at the Ministry of Health in Uganda, Dr. Mwebesa oversees the overall technical supervision of health services in the country. With a strong background in health management, he has worked closely with development partners, the private sector, and civil society organizations to strengthen partnerships and manage multimillion-dollar donor-funded projects. Dr. Mwebesa is a dedicated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and he has directly managed and supervised numerous projects funded by organizations such as the African Development Bank, USAID, and the World Bank.
