Our Promise Until 2028
IDI’s 2023-2028 Strategic Plan is driven by our vision of a healthy Africa free from infectious diseases. We aim to accelerate disease reduction, strengthen resilient health systems, enhance data-driven decision-making, and influence policy through our expertise. Shaped by the COVID-19 pandemic and evolving global landscape, our strategy prioritizes HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, emerging diseases, and antimicrobial resistance while integrating non-communicable diseases and data analytics. We will optimize human capital, foster strategic partnerships, enhance knowledge management, adapt to regional trends, and incorporate ESG principles. By addressing key challenges and aligning our priorities, IDI is poised to significantly advance a healthier Africa.
