African Centre of Excellence in Bioinformatics & Data Intensive Science (ACE)—Uganda
We harness high-performance computing, bioinformatics, data science, and enhanced visualization capabilities to drive research and training initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes in Africa.
ACE-Uganda is dedicated to the development and application of bioinformatics and big data capacity in Africa. We provide high-performance scientific computing infrastructure, virtual reality (VR) biovisualization, and 3D printing capabilities as platforms for training in bioinformatics, data science, and data analytics. Students, teachers, and researchers share skills, knowledge, and best practices among global biomedical research community members.
