Enhencing Capacity For Earrly Phase Clinical Trials in Uganda (CAPA-CT)

The CAPA-CT project aims to strengthen capacity at IDI for early phase clinical trials for Ebola and other viral hemorrhagic fevers. The project supports capacity strengthening initiatives targeting the Research Department and the Prevention Care and Treatment Department at IDI using the framework of the capacity pyramid, an internationally recognized capacity building model that has been extensively used and refined within IDI. The CAPA-CT project is co-funded by the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership and the WHO Tropical Diseases Research.
