TRAINING AND CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT

The growing evidence indicates that improving the productivity, engagement, and performance of health workers can enhance care outcomes. This was the shared vision of the 14 members of the Academic Alliance in Africa when they launched the Training and Capacity Development Programme in 2002. They aimed to enhance and maintain the competence of healthcare workers to enable them to provide top-quality prevention and management of HIV and other infectious diseases in Africa.

The course is organized in modules and each module covers a reasonable amount of By the end of the course, you will be able to:

Create survey forms using Build or XLS Forms
Set up ODK Build and Collect
Upload forms to an Aggregate / Central / kobo server
Load forms into Collect on an Android device
Use ODK Collect to fill out forms with field participants
Upload survey data from Collect to Aggregate / Central / Kobo toolbox
Export and Visualise data from Aggregate

Eligibility

This course is available to individuals in the public health workforce and other fields who are interested in receiving formal education and training to efficiently manage and analyze data. This training is aimed at data managers, data collection officers, researchers, and monitoring and evaluation officers, among other categories.
