They will receive guidance and mentoring from AMR specialists and experts across the network. Each fellow will be expected to develop and implement a quality improvement (QI) project at their site, focusing on one of the following thematic areas:

  1. Innovation and Technology: Develop QI plans that incorporate advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, clinical decision support, personalized medicine, and the integration of host-pathogen dynamics. Fellows will learn about point-of-care diagnostics, lab-on-chip technology, antimicrobial biosensing, and ensuring medicine quality.
  2. Context, Culture, and Behaviors: Lead projects that promote organizational and individual behavior change to improve prescribing practices and stewardship programmes. Fellows will gain insights into health-seeking behaviors, socio-cultural determinants of AMR, and healthcare utilization.
