We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ultrasonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic tests for research studies. This will include ultrasound/doppler studies of the cranial vasculature, lungs, heart, and inferior vena cava with a strong focus on transcranial doppler (TCD) and carotid doppler examinations; prior experience in this area is preferred
The successful candidate will also be responsible for performing a variety of additional diagnostic tests, including retinal imaging using fundoscopy and high-quality optical coherence tomography (OCT). Additional training and skill building will be provided to ensure standardized and image acquisition for ultrasound studies and training in all retinal imaging for otherwise qualified candidates
The technologist will be an integral member of the research team and will work closely with the medical doctors neurologists and vascular surgeons to provide critical diagnostic information for the assessment and treatment of cerebrovascular disease, intravascular volume status, and hemodynamic instability
The Graduate Trainee shall support the Library/KM section, which falls under the Information Services department. The major role under the Library is information processing (indexing, abstracting, cataloguing, classification, managing electronic libraries, knowledge codification, preservation, and sharing. Each of these roles directly serves the needs of end users.
