Paul Rumanda Rugambwa joins IDI as its inaugural Head of Department for the Human Resource function. Paul is a Human Resource professional and a certified Global Remuneration Professional certified by the WorldatWork in the USA. With over 17 years’ experience as an HR Professional, he has worked with organisations in Uganda, East and Southern Africa region in the following industries; Health, Automotive and Telecommunication. He has also served as a Chairman Board of Trustees for a Staff Provident Scheme regulated under the Uganda Retirement Benefits Authority.

Paul’s areas of expertise are; Strategic Human Resource Development, Financial Management, Risk and Assurance, Employee development, Total Rewards Management, Expatriate Management and Environmental Health & Safety among others.

Paul’s passion lies in seeing people reach their full potential and organisations achieve their ultimate purpose and objectives i.e. People, Planet and Profit sustainably. He is also a mentor with Boundless Minds Uganda.
