Eva Agnes Laker is a pharmacist and trained epidemiologist who is passionate about the efficacy and safety of antiretroviral drugs both in clinical trial and real-world settings. She has coordinated several pharmacovigilance projects for the rollout of new drugs in the HIV/TB program. Her research work also involves system strengthening for the delivery of public health interventions in pharmacy settings.

She is currently doing her PhD looking at the safety of Dolutegravir in the programmatic setting in Uganda. Her passion also extends to passing on the skills she is attaining to the next generation of scientists.
