Dr. Aggrey S. Semeere is an Internal Medicine Specialist and Researcher at the Infectious Diseases Institute in Kampala, Uganda where he leads the Prevention, Care and Treatment programme. He holds an MBChB from Makerere University, and advanced training in Epidemiology and Implementation Science from the University of California, San Francisco. His research focuses on enhancing access to high-quality HIV care and treatment in resource-limited settings. He has published extensively on topics such as antiretroviral drug resistance in HIV-infected children and stigma among people living with HIV/AIDS in post-conflict Northern Uganda. Dr. Semeere is dedicated to advancing medical knowledge and improving health outcomes in Uganda and beyond.
