Dr. Esther Nasuuna is a public health physician with over ten years’ experience in clinical care, health programming, research, capacity building and policy development primarily in HIV. Her research interests are in improving HIV care outcomes for adolescents and young people living with HIV specifically achieving viral suppression and prevention of non-communicable diseases. She is passionate about quality of life and translating research into policy and practice. She is continually expanding her knowledge and skills to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people living with HIV. She is pursuing a PhD focused on chronic kidney disease among young people living with HIV in Uganda.
