Dr Annet Onzia is a research project coordinator and co-investigator for the Centre for Innovative Diagnostics for Infectious Diseases (CIDID); a research collaboration between the Infectious Diseases Institute and the Johns Hopkins University, School of medicine that aims to evaluate the performance of prototype diagnostic point of care (POC) technologies for various infectious diseases.

Passionate about sexual reproductive health, Annet has extensive clinical and research experience in the field of sexual health and her research interests lies in SRH wellbeing of vulnerable populations with a special interest in sexually transmitted infections and HIV co-infections.
