Streamlining Access to Essential Supplies

IDI’s Health System Strengthening projects prioritize ensuring healthcare facilities have uninterrupted access to the medical products and services they need to deliver quality care. This is achieved through collaborative efforts with various stakeholders:

Ministry of Health: IDI works closely with the Ministry of Health to stay informed of national policies and guidelines related to medical commodity management.
National Warehouses: We maintain strong relationships with national warehouses, advocating for the timely delivery of essential medical supplies.
District and Facility Teams: IDI strengthens the capacity of district and facility teams in forecasting, ordering, and efficiently redistributing medical commodities. This proactive approach helps prevent stockouts that could disrupt service delivery.

By fostering a collaborative network and promoting efficient logistics management, IDI’s HSS projects play a critical role in ensuring healthcare facilities are well-equipped to meet the needs of their patients.
