Dr. Mohammed Lamorde takes on new executive role at ISPOR

Congratulations to Dr. Mohammed Lamorde on his new executive role at the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) as Chair of Africa Network.

ISPOR is the leading professional society for health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) globally. The ISPOR Africa Network is a group within the organizational structure of ISPOR that consists of ISPOR regional chapters from different countries in Africa. It also constitutes approximately 5000 academics, researchers and industry experts.

Dr. Lamorde is also the Head of the Prevention, Care and Treatment programme at the Infectious Disease Institute, President of the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research Uganda Chapter, a member of the advisory panel of the leading international HIV drug-interactions (website www.hiv-druginteractions.org) and of the African Research Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases. Dr. Lamorde is an internal medicine physician trained in Nigeria, the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. He was awarded a PhD at Trinity College, Ireland in recognition of his work on the clinical pharmacokinetics of medicines used in the management of HIV-infected adults.
