The Research Office was created to support and coordinate research across the institute, given the growing and increasingly diverse research portfolio. The office is responsible for implementing the research, governance, compliance to research ethical standards and research contract administration. In addition to developing, implementing, and monitoring adherence (compliance) to research policies and procedures, the office is also charged with research resource mobilization, partnerships and communication, and enhancing relations with academia, industry, regulators, and other strategic research partners.
